Quest Diagnostics: Heroes Work Here
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Quest Diagnostics sought to highlight the extraordinary efforts of its employees working across the nation to provide critical testing services. The challenge was to capture the essence of this hard work and dedication, while creating a powerful, heartfelt campaign that resonated with both the public and the employees themselves.
The project needed to show not just the logistical growth of testing sites but also emphasize the human element, those who made this monumental effort possible. The campaign was titled "Heroes Work Here," and it aimed to honor the unsung heroes working tirelessly during a time of global crisis.

Bringing Heroes to the Forefront
The first step was organizing and gathering the necessary assets from various locations, including photographs and video footage of Quest Diagnostics employees in action. This required working closely with teams across the country to ensure that we had the most impactful and authentic content.
Once the assets were collected, I led the photo and video editing process, making sure that every visual element captured the heart and dedication of the employees. Motion graphics and graphic design were integrated to effectively showcase the growth of testing sites, helping to illustrate the expansion of testing capabilities in a clear, engaging way.
The visuals and messaging were crafted to evoke empathy and admiration, ensuring that the final piece not only informed but also deeply connected with viewers. Every element was designed to spotlight the hard work and perseverance of the people who kept the country moving during one of its most challenging times.

The "Heroes Work Here" campaign quickly gained traction, resonating with both the Quest Diagnostics team and the general public. The campaign effectively communicated the magnitude of the efforts involved in scaling up testing sites while paying tribute to the incredible employees who made it happen. The message was clear: while many were adjusting to the “new normal,” Quest’s employees were continuing their vital work, as they always had.

In reflecting on the project, I’m proud of how the combination of creative visuals, design, and heartfelt messaging highlighted the resilience and dedication of those who truly made a difference. The campaign also served as a powerful reminder that even in the most challenging times, the real heroes are often the ones quietly doing the work behind the scenes.
